Yes at last I have got the Video live for you all to see. A group of love bugs spent the afternoon of the 10th feb 2013 writing love letters and dropping them around London UK in celebration of 1 year of this movement continuing to spread across the globe.

It just so happens that Feb 10th is also Chinese New Year so a great day to celebrate Global Love Letters Birthday from now on.

Its been 1 year since Miguel found that wonderful anonymous card on his way home from our event called Who is Valentine. After hearing Miguels story of love we allowed the love to flow through us and created an anonymous global movement called Global Love Letters.

We birthed an unconditional movement where you write an anonymous love letters, named To You and signed I love You.

HERE’S THE PLAN:
Write love letters all over the world.. Create your own meet up love gathering between 10th – 14th Feb and write love letters. Group, schools, friends, work, picnics, circles.

• Invite your friends, children, gran and grandpa, and create great gatherings all over the world sharing the love.
• Share this event info with your networks, newsletters, mail outs, linkedin groups, facebook, twitter all other social media platforms.
• This is a global revolution and its FREE just like LOVE
• Take pictures / Film videos and upload them to Facebook and YouTube to spread the love.

• Just requires your full hearted intention.

You may ask why Feb 10th and not just Feb 14th when we found the original note. We do not want this movement to become a commercial thing people do because they think its Valentines Day.This isn’t about commercialising love, this is an authentic daily, weekly, monthly practice which shifts the frequency of your life experience and sends out ripples of love into the world.

Global Love Letters is more than just a gimmick, its a life practice serving all of humanity!

Global love is all about Self love! An early morning delivery of an anonymous love letter to shine love amongst what some would call abuse.

Out with the monkey! A day out in Brighton keeping the movement alive and dropping anonymous love letters in random places

Hannah Brencher’s mother always wrote her letters. So when she felt herself bottom into depression after college, she did what felt natural — she wrote love letters and left them for strangers to find. The act has become a global initiative, The World Needs More Love Letters, which rushes handwritten letters to those in need of a boost.

We found this TED Talk and had to share it for you all to see. There is a huge power in this process. Hope this gives you some inspiration to continue.

Hannah’s words: i began leaving love letters all over New York City back in October 2010 as a way to try to fight off my own loneliness and depression. the callouses still have not faded from the following year as i spent nine months mailing over 400 love letters to strangers in need around the world. today i run The World Needs More Love Letters, a global love letter writing organization that harnesses the power behind social media to write and mail love letters to individuals across the globe. i’m like a proud mama when i tell people it’s spread across 6 continents and all 50 states. she is my labor of love. where i spend my days.

“Today, the kids and I have joined the Global Love Letter Movement.

We have learned that people from ALL over the globe, are writing anonymous love letters and delivering them to all kinds of wonderful places in all kinds of wonderful ways.

As we decorated our envelopes with love hearts and the words “For You”, we then put pen to paper and allowed the words to flow, straight from our hearts, to whoever might find the letters”.
